Underground Service Groundworks in Nailsea

Nailsea2 photos

Our underground service work in Nailsea included routes beside the building, with marker tapes above the buried services and a duct rising towards the property. This formed part of the groundwork connecting the wider site infrastructure with the building.

Forming routes beside the construction area

We worked on service routes within the excavation close to the building. Several lines shared the working area, with the route continuing towards the points where services entered the building layout.

These approaches need to be considered alongside the foundations and surrounding groundworks. A service trench forms part of a connected route, including the junction between the site and the property.

Marker tape and duct entries

The work included marker tapes along the underground runs and ductwork at the building approach. These elements help identify the routes as the trench work progresses.

Marker tape is one part of identifying buried services, alongside installation information and project records. Our work here focused on the underground routes and the duct approach to the building.

Preparing for later building stages

The duct rising beside the building formed a transition from the underground route to the construction above. This groundwork took place before the surrounding area received its final finish.

We undertake service trench and duct groundwork in Nailsea and the Bristol area as part of new builds and wider construction projects.
