Our garden landscaping work in Harry Stoke brought together a lawn, paved patio and timber fencing. We created a simple layout with an open central area and a planting border along one side, making the main parts of the garden work together.
Laying out the lawn and patio
We laid turf across the central garden area, with straight edges meeting the paving and planting border. The layout kept the lawn as one open space rather than dividing it into smaller sections.
The paved terrace provided a separate area alongside the grass. Bringing these surfaces together gave the garden space for outdoor seating as well as an open lawn.
Fencing and space for planting
Timber fencing formed the garden boundary, with a narrow soil border providing room for planting. These elements framed the lawn without taking up the centre of the space.
Our work brought the main garden surfaces and boundaries into place. The newly laid turf was at an early stage of establishment, with planting and personal touches able to develop afterwards.
Garden landscaping around Bristol
For garden projects in Bristol and Harry Stoke, we discuss how you want to use the space before agreeing the balance of paving, lawn and borders. That makes the layout a practical starting point for the work.
